When Jasper Sutton’s childhood friend takes the passenger seat again, his partner chooses silence and sits beside Jonathan Clayton in the back. Small gestures during the drive lead to an attraction neither of them dismisses. A stop at a rest area gives them a moment away from Jasper. Beneath the apparently ordinary trip, existing resentments and a new intimacy begin changing the relationships inside the car.
